My name is Marbel Mendoza. I'm 58 years young and I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. I left Cuba in 1980 together with my parents arriving in this country (USA) in 1982 after 2 years in Peru. I'm the only child my beloved parents had. Sadly both of them passed away since I've been behind these prison walls, adding to the pain that I'm experiencing by being in a place like this. But, surely I'm comforted by the thought of knowing they are in a better place. I am a very compassionate and understanding person. I believe honesty and sincerity are the foundation of a true and lasting friendship. I'm a very easy going and have a great sense of humor. I truly believe that we live this life only once, so why not enjoy each moment, after all no one knows what tomorrow has stored for us. My hobbies are reading, writing, sports, and I've a great appreciation for all type of music. I also like working out and stay in good shape. Life behind bars is extremely lonely.
